About Us
The Student Chapter of the Association of Shelter Veterinarians, RUSVM chapter, was established in April 2020, as a combination of two formed clubs, SAFE and PAWS. These two separately run student organizations decided to come together for the good of the animals on St. Kitts.
Working together, our goal is to protect animals from neglect, save animals from emergency, and help the community take care of their beloved pets.

What we do
As a student run club, we respond to calls in the community about animals that need help. Some of them are owner surrenders, and others are in life threatening emergency situations. We foster these animals and help them recover, mentally and physically, and then help find them find new loving homes.
We work primarily off of donations as well as funds from student fundraising.
Since we are working with SAFE, a 501c3 non-profit organization, donations (US donations) are considered tax deductible.
